GrindLevel Referral Program Terms
Effective date: August 23, 2026
These GrindLevel Referral Program Terms (the “Terms”) govern participation in the GrindLevel Referral Program (the “Program”) offered by ANA SOFTWARE LLC (“GrindLevel,” “we,” “us,” or “our”). The Program is a limited, promotional way for eligible people to receive time-limited access to GrindLevel Pro. It is not a promise that every invitation, signup, referral, or payment will produce a reward.
By sending or using a referral invitation, you agree to these Terms and the GrindLevel Terms of Use and Privacy Policy. If the Program is not shown as available to your account, it is not available to you.
1. Where the Program is available
The Program is available only to eligible individual GrindLevel users in the United States and Mexico. Participants must be at least 18 years old, control their own GrindLevel account, and satisfy these Terms and any eligibility or risk checks shown in the Service. The Program is void where prohibited.
The Program may be unavailable even in a supported country because it is disabled, temporarily paused, subject to a safety limit, or unavailable for a particular account or invitation. Sharing a link does not reserve or guarantee a reward.
2. Eligible new accounts and direct referrals only
An invitee must create and verify a legitimate new GrindLevel account while a valid referral attribution is still active. A duplicate, replacement, reactivated, fabricated, self-referred, or otherwise ineligible account does not qualify. Each person may receive the invitee signup reward only once for life.
Rewards apply only to the direct relationship between one referrer and one invitee. There are no second-level, downstream, team, network, or multilevel rewards or commissions.
3. First-touch attribution and expiration
The first valid invitation recorded by GrindLevel's server is authoritative for exactly 30 days (2,592,000 seconds) from the server timestamp. It is not a calendar month. A later invitation cannot replace that first touch while it is valid. Attribution expires at the exact server timestamp and is never applied retroactively.
After the first attribution expires, a new legitimate invitation may be recorded. Creating or verifying an account after an attribution expires does not revive the expired attribution.
4. Signup benefits
If all eligibility, attribution, verification, safety, and Program-availability requirements are satisfied:
- an eligible invitee may receive one 30-day GrindLevel Pro signup credit after
creating and verifying a legitimate new account; and
- the referrer may receive one separate 30-day GrindLevel Pro credit for the
referrer's first verified direct referral.
The referrer's first-referral credit is available only once for life. It is separate from the invitee's credit and from any later first-payment credit. Those separate credits may be placed in a queue rather than begin at the same time.
Across invitations attributed to the same referrer, no more than three invitee signup credits may be activated in any rolling 30-day period and no more than ten may be activated for life. Global safety limits, account-specific risk checks, or the Program gate may impose a lower limit or prevent activation.
5. Referrer benefits after an eligible first payment
Each verified direct referral, including the first one, has separate eligibility for one first-payment credit for the referrer. A credit may be created only after GrindLevel verifies the invitee's first actual monthly or annual non-trial payment, including the first actual charge after a trial converts to paid service. Merely starting or using a trial does not qualify. An ordinary renewal, restore, transfer, duplicate event, or later payment does not create another first-payment credit for the same invitee.
Eligible paid-referral order is assigned by GrindLevel's server:
| Eligible paid-referral order | Potential referrer credit |
|---|---|
| 1 through 4 | 30 days each |
| 5 | 60 days |
| 6 through 9 | 30 days each |
| 10 | 60 days |
| 11 and later | 0 days |
The maximum first-payment benefit is twelve 30-day blocks, or 360 days in total, across the first ten eligible paid referrals. This cap is separate from the referrer's one-time 30-day first-verified-referral credit and from any invitee credit. Reaching an ordinal, sharing a link, or seeing a payment event does not guarantee a credit; the server must verify every requirement.
6. What reward statuses mean
The Program may use the following statuses. Not every credit passes through every status, and a status is not a cash balance:
- Pending: a direct referral is recorded, but the qualifying event or final
verification has not occurred.
- Held: an eligible first payment was detected, but the credit is in a
seven-day antifraud hold and is not usable.
- Earned: the required verification and hold are complete, but the credit
may still need to enter the usage queue.
- Queued: the credit is waiting behind active store access or an earlier
referral credit.
- Active: the credit is currently supplying GrindLevel Pro access.
- Paused: store-based Pro access began while referral time remained; the
unused referral time is preserved and can return to the queue when store access ends.
- Consumed: the credited time has been used.
- Cancelled: the credit will not begin or continue because it was reversed,
was ineligible, the beneficiary account was deleted, fraud or abuse was found, or another rule in these Terms applies.
- Under review: evidence is incomplete, ambiguous, contradictory, or subject
to an integrity check; no credit is promised while review is pending.
7. Trials, refunds, chargebacks, and reversals
A trial alone never counts as an eligible first payment. A first-payment credit stays held for seven days after the verified payment event.
A refund or chargeback that is causally matched before the related referral credit begins cancels that credit. Time already consumed is not taken back. A partial, ambiguous, contradictory, late, or unmatched refund or chargeback may remain under review and cannot create or change a credit until GrindLevel can verify the evidence.
If a store later reverses a refund, GrindLevel may restore the corresponding credit one time only if that credit was cancelled and never began. A refund reversal cannot create a duplicate credit.
8. Store subscriptions and referral credits are separate
Apple, Google Play, and their verified billing records remain authoritative for store purchases, prices, products, receipts, trials, renewals, cancellations, and refunds. A referral credit is a separate, app-provided access benefit. It is not a store subscription, store coupon, price reduction, payment, receipt, or change to a renewal date.
When verified store-based Pro access is active, unused referral time is queued or paused so the two forms of access do not overlap. Referral time may resume after store access ends. Deleting a GrindLevel account, losing a referral credit, or leaving the Program does not cancel an App Store or Google Play subscription; the account holder must manage that subscription separately in the store.
Apple and Google are not sponsors or administrators of the Program and do not determine referral eligibility.
9. No cash value or transfer
Referral credits have no cash or monetary value, are not property, and cannot be sold, transferred, gifted, inherited, traded, withdrawn, refunded, or exchanged for money or store credit. They cannot be used to pay for a subscription or reduce a store charge. Unless mandatory law requires otherwise, unused referral time ends when the beneficiary account is deleted.
10. Responsible sharing and incentive disclosure
Every time a participant shares or endorses GrindLevel in connection with this Program, the participant must clearly and conspicuously disclose, in the same language as the message and close to the recommendation or link, that the participant may receive GrindLevel Pro time. The disclosure must not be hidden behind another link, a profile page, a “more” control, vague wording, or a group of hashtags. Participants must describe the invitee benefit and material limits truthfully and must not promise that anyone will receive a reward.
Participants may share only with people from whom they reasonably expect to receive the communication and must comply with applicable advertising, anti-spam, telemarketing, text-message, employment, platform, and other rules. Participants must not send unsolicited bulk or automated messages; use bots, purchased lists, harvested addresses, or deceptive sender information; conceal the commercial or incentivized nature of a message; or continue contacting a person who has asked them to stop.
GrindLevel may provide suggested share text, but the participant is responsible for keeping the incentive disclosure intact and for the context, recipients, and claims in the participant's message.
11. Prohibited conduct
Participants must not:
- refer themselves or create, control, coordinate, buy, sell, or use multiple
accounts to obtain credits;
- use fabricated or borrowed identities, bots, scripts, emulators, click farms,
automated claims, or other artificial activity;
- manipulate or attempt to manipulate attribution, installation handoffs,
verification, referral order, trials, purchases, refunds, chargebacks, reversals, transactions, risk checks, limits, or Program status;
- misrepresent GrindLevel, the Program, the participant's relationship with
GrindLevel, or the likelihood, timing, amount, or value of a benefit;
- sell or broker invitations or credits, or use the Program for unlawful,
coercive, deceptive, abusive, or harassing activity; or
- interfere with the Program, evade a suspension or limit, or help another
person do anything prohibited by these Terms.
12. Verification, denial, cancellation, and correction
GrindLevel's server records and verified causal evidence determine attribution, eligibility, paid-referral order, status, and remaining referral time, subject to applicable law. GrindLevel may request reasonable information or a risk challenge, delay a decision, deny or cancel a credit, correct an error, suspend an account's participation, or investigate activity when needed to enforce these Terms, prevent fraud or abuse, comply with law, or protect users and system or transaction integrity.
GrindLevel will not knowingly use a correction to create a duplicate benefit or silently rewrite time already consumed. Nothing in this section limits a non-waivable consumer right or remedy.
13. Program gate, circuit breaker, changes, and termination
The Program is controlled by a server-side gate and safety circuit breaker. GrindLevel may keep the Program disabled or may pause or suspend it, globally or for particular activity, when needed for safety, fraud prevention, legal or platform compliance, maintenance, capacity, or system and transaction integrity. While the gate or circuit breaker is off, new invitations, attributions, activations, verification, reward processing, or use may be unavailable or delayed. Store subscription access is not changed by that gate.
A temporary suspension does not itself delete the referral ledger, and time already consumed will not be reclaimed solely because the Program is suspended. If GrindLevel ends the Program permanently, no new credits will be created after the announced termination time. Valid credits already in earned, queued, or paused status will remain available to the beneficiary and may be used until consumed, subject only to account deletion, a causally matched refund or chargeback, fraud or abuse, and mandatory law. Pending, held, cancelled, or under-review activity is not promised a credit and will be resolved under the eligibility and integrity rules in these Terms. No participant is promised continued availability of the Program or future credits.
14. Account deletion, causal retention, and privacy
Confirmed account deletion removes the participant's active GrindLevel account data and active referral access. Deleting an invitee account does not erase or, by itself, prevent an otherwise valid benefit for a surviving referrer. If a referrer account is deleted, a pending benefit for that missing account may be cancelled and no new access is created for it.
GrindLevel may retain only limited pseudonymous referral and normalized transaction evidence for as long as reasonably necessary for duplicate suppression, fraud prevention, reward and transaction integrity, preventing duplicate processing, refund or chargeback matching, security, disputes, and legal obligations. The detailed contents of new RevenueCat events are retained for no more than 90 days; limited normalized causal records may be kept longer for those stated purposes. Account deletion removes the direct association with the GrindLevel user but may not erase another participant's valid reward or evidence needed to match a later reversal.
The GrindLevel Privacy Policy explains the information used for referrals, RevenueCat processing, retention, deletion, privacy rights, and processing in the United States or other countries where service providers operate. The English policy is available at https://grindlevel.app/privacy/ and the Mexico notice is available at https://grindlevel.app/es/privacy/.
15. Changes to these Terms
GrindLevel may update these Terms when the Program, law, safety needs, or platform requirements change. We will post the revised Terms at the same first-party location and update the “Last updated” or effective date. For a material change, we will also provide reasonable notice in the app or by email before the change takes effect when required by applicable law. A change applies prospectively unless law, fraud prevention, security, or system integrity requires immediate action; in that case, notice will be provided as soon as reasonably practicable.
16. Applicable law, jurisdiction, and mandatory consumer rights
For participants in the United States, these Terms are governed by applicable federal law and, to the extent federal law does not control, the laws of Florida, without requiring a participant to waive any mandatory protection of the state where the participant resides. Subject to any non-waivable consumer forum or venue right, a dispute may be heard by a state or federal court with lawful jurisdiction in or serving Tampa, Florida.
For participants in Mexico, the mandatory provisions of the Ley Federal de Protección al Consumidor, the Ley Federal de Protección de Datos Personales en Posesión de los Particulares, and other applicable Mexican law remain in force. PROFECO, the competent data-protection authority, and competent Mexican courts retain the powers and jurisdiction given to them by law.
Nothing in these Terms excludes, limits, or requires the waiver of a warranty, remedy, forum, jurisdiction, privacy right, or consumer protection that cannot lawfully be waived. If a provision conflicts with mandatory law, that law controls and the remaining provisions continue to apply to the extent lawful.
17. English and Spanish versions
The English and Spanish versions are intended to have equivalent meaning. The Spanish version applies to participants in Mexico and the English version applies to participants in the United States, in each case subject to mandatory law. Neither version may be interpreted to narrow a non-waivable right provided by the other version or by applicable law.
